Do California lemon laws apply for boats?

I know about the California lemon law for different vehicles, automobile, and machines. I know that it is very useful when any one bought a faulty product. Recently I have bought a boat that is also faulty and getting problem while boating. When I paddling the boat then it sounds too much and don’t goes fast. Because of that I am not getting all its benefits that is have desired. Can anyone tell me that Is my boat comes under California lemon law? Thanks in advance.

jessicalogan 		Yes California lemon law can be applied for the different types of vehicles including motorcycle, computer and even for boats also. If you have bought the boats with the warranty cards then you can claim for that. It is really disappointing when you got problem after buying the expensive dream. Boats are also one of the thing for which a consumer can claim on the manufacturer. If you have bought a faulty boat then you will get same degree of protection that you got with the car, SUV or with computer.

California lemon laws can not be helpful if you have bought a boat after the defects were highlighted to you by the owner or mechanic before purchase. It affects the sellers from any responsibility towards the repair of such defects. I legal terms it is called Caveat emptor. This lemon law is strictly designed to protect the consumer rights that he or she has got just after purchasing or while the warranty is still in effect but the dealer can’t fix these defects.
