While building guineapig hutches one must take care of the materials being implemented in the hutch formation. Since guineapig are quite mischievous creatures, always jumping, running and roaming around in the living area. If you are willing to construct hutch for your guinea pig make sure each item you choose should have quality.
Comfort is also necessary issue that must feature in the guineapig hutches. Visit the local pet stuff store shop and purchase 10 wooden columns along with chicken nets so that real surrounding can be given around the hutch. Under this area guinea pig will be able to wander around along with eating grasses. In order to build such area you would require 8 wooden columns nailing them into square form making the top and bottom structure of the hutch.
Further for the outer cage, have 2 wooden columns cutting then half to form stilts that will be place between the two squares. Cut the top portion of the cage to half so that from side you can access the internal area of the hutch. But make sure this opening must be protected with safe lock feature since guineapig can be attacked by the wild animals from this portion or pig may run out too. The inside hutch can be made with a wooden box having two main area such as one for sleeping and other for food eating purpose. Keep enough quantity of straw and hay in the sleeping area.
