Is it safe to purchase airline tickets Chennai with travel portal?

I am planning for a business trip to Chennai, since I have less time in hand to reach to Chennai therefore willing to go to Chennai through flights. I have recently heard about travel portal for online ticket booking. On the same time I have heard that it may also cause cancellation of the tickets. Can anyone of you suggest me what to do?

Hello,

It is simple to purchase flight tickets with travel portal. In rare condition it happens that the tickets are canceled. But in this circumstances you can claim for refunding the money. You will be able to get the money back. In case they create problem in refunding money to you then you can claim for money refund to Consumer's Court.

But travel portal charges extra money for booking flight tickets so you should go for online booking for Chennai from the airlines sites it will not charge any extra money from you moreover it does not cancel the tickets without your permission.

So, check for flights to Chennai online and purchase cheapest tickets according to your schedules for the business. Well it is better if you purchase tickets at least two months ago since it is possible that tickets are booked beforehand.
